The "prato inglese" (lawn) is the owners' pride and joy and the finishing touch was added when they built the pool - carefully hidden in its own green surroundings. From this Sardinian holiday villa there are beautiful views from most of the garden and at the top of the property a small area with seating from which you might catch a glimpse of the sea. The long front terrace is the perfect place in which to start the unwinding process. In the middle of the day, shelter here from the hot Sardinian sun and enjoy the cool breeze created by the overhead fans. The villa's open-plan large living/dining room has comfortable cane sofas arranged around the homely fireplace. Antique wooden dining furniture also adds to the welcoming feel. Not to mention, of course, the high-beamed ceilings which create a feeling of space that runs throughout the whole house.

This is a stylish, comfortable Sardinian villa, ideal for a memorable summer holiday in Sardinia. Parts of the garden and terrace benefit from all-day sunshine, but don't forget your suncream! If you can bear to tear yourself away, the stone streets of old Alghero, narrow and lined with shops and restaurants, are only a short drive away. Excellent bars and restaurants overlook a pretty harbour where you can gaze admiringly at the luxury yachts. The beach at Alghero is long and wide. As it heads away from town it becomes backed by pine trees, and out of high season is a quieter place to spend time by the sea.
