This quite unusual house, on three floors which overlooks the river and the ancient Abbey of Lagrasse, has been restored and comfortably furnished by its architect owner. It is on the edge of a most characterful medieval village (a site classe) with its ancient bridge and abbey. The surrounding countryside is quite unique and the river is ideal for swimming, being dammed to form a freshwater Plan d`eau the whole area being bordered by vineyards.
The house has been beautifully restored to retain its character but has all modern conveniences. The roof terrace is ideal for eating out and relaxing in the sun and enjoying the superb views of the abbey and countryside. The village has excellent restaurants and cafes as well as all shops.

DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION

Entry is from the street overlooking the river, by a large entry porch, to the living/dining room with large well-equipped kitchen steps go down to the cellar with freezer and also a separate WC. A staircase leads to the first floor where there is a large sitting room with satellite TV and balcony overlooking the river, and an area with a bed settee that can be curtained off.
The staircase continues up to the second floor, which has a double bedroom  a bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom/WC which also has a washing machine. A further flight of steps leads to the roof terrace. There is parking in front of the house and a telephone.
