Standing in a residential area inside the town of Bagnols-sur-Ceze this modern house (built in 1986) has a grassy, private, enclosed and sunny garden of some 1000 sq m with olive and pine trees, and a swimming pool (10m x 5m x 1m 80) with paved surround right outside the house. The old town of Bagnols has picturesque buildings, streets and squares such as the Place Mallet with its renowned museum of modern art which houses paintings by Monet, Renoir and Matisse amongst others. Shops, restaurants and cafes abound in Bagnols which also has a large weekly street market. This is an excellent centre from which to visit Avignon, Orange and Nimes, the Gorges of the Ardeche and the Pont du Gard, all within a half hour's drive or so. There is riding, bicycle hire and tennis in Bagnols and a 9-hole golf course at Uzes. Bagnols is also in the famous Cotes du Rhone wine producing area.
DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION
You enter the terrace dining room which has access to a sitting room, with TV plus DVD, and, by an interior hall, to the kitchen, bathroom, separate WC, one bedroom with double bed, and second bedroom with large single bed. On the first floor, with access from the hall by a steep open wooden staircase, is another double bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC.
Because the house is built on different levels, there are two or three steps here and there, for instance between the kitchen/dining room and the sitting room and between the interior hall and bedroom. Off the spacious kitchen, with dishwasher, is a small utility room with washing machine. The house also has a telephone.
