The property lies just 2km to the south of the mediaeval village of Trets with its historic centre within the remains of its ramparts which have mostly been converted into dwellings. From the property a 25 minute walk takes you to the village; it has several restaurants and cafes and shady boulevards as well as its midweek market. The town of Aix-en-Provence, with its ancient centre is less than a half-hour drive. This bustling university town offers boutiques, cafes and restaurants which spill out onto the shady boulevards and squares.
An enormous amount of beautiful countryside and interesting places to visit are within easy reach of this area: such as the Luberon, Marseilles and the Cote Bleue, or the Calanques and the Cote Varoise to the south including Cassis and Le Ciotat, and the Camargue to the west.

DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION

This is a pleasant and tastefully furnished modern villa situated in the countryside in a secluded garden of some 5,000m2 mostly enclosed and laid to grass with trees and shrubs for shade. It has a swimming pool (11m x 5.5m x 1.6m max. depth) a short distance from the large covered terrace with barbecue and ping-pong table. Upstairs, off the landing, are a king size double bedroom, one twin bedroom and two double bedrooms, one with shower room en-suite and sliding windows to a covered balcony. There is also a bathroom and a separate WC.
