This old stone house is located in a wonderful position on a hill with splendid sea views in the village of Brela; benath you is a 3000m2 olive field, and beneath again are the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic. You are free to stroll around this fabulous and spacious olive grove above which the propery sits; indeed a 5 minute walk through the olive grove takes you to two excellent restaurants called 'Ivandicha Dvori' and 'Konoba Krichack'. Brela seafront 5 minutes away is delightful; it has a series of beautiful beaches, several restaurants with outdoor tables, which serve fresh fish and meat, and a few bars and shops. Baska Voda, Tucepi and Podgora are lovely nearby seaside resorts just down the coast. The town of Makarska is 15 minutes away and has a busy night life, a myriad of good restaurants, daily boat excursions to the island of Brac and the Golden Cape at Bol. It is a perfect place to enjoy a summer evening strolling, eating and being entertained.
The historic town of Split is only 45 minutes; visit Diocletian's Palace or hop on a ferry to one of the Islands of Brac, Hvar or Vis. A bit further north is the charming old centre of Trogir a unesco Heritage Site.
