The house is in a truly wonderful position with stunning views to the north-west, over the Ceou valley, towards Domme. It is situated about 2km from the village of Daglan, which is on the banks of the Ceou, which flows into the Dordogne river, at Castelnau 10km away. There is a village shop, a bakery as well as restaurants and a bar. This is a lovely part of the Dordogne and there is lots to see: the fabulous Chateau at Castelnaud, the lovely villages of Beynac, Laroque, Limeuil and of course the gorgeous medieval architecture of Sarlat and its vibrantly colourful Saturday market, just 22km away. The Ceou flowing through flower filled meadows provides many pretty places to picnic.
