This attractive house stands in the small town of Grenade sur l`Adour, which is a walled town built by the British in 1322. It is quite large and has many shops and restaurants, and even a museum. Local products are available in shops and the market runs twice a week. Local specialities are mainly cooked with Armagnac. The town still has picturesque narrow roads with old fortifications. The River Adour, which is just down the garden, but safely separated from it, offer s good spot for fishing. Tennis courts are also available a few minutes walk from the house and the nearest golf clubs are 10 and 12km away.
The impressive and flowery town of Mont de Marsan is less than 10 minutes drive and organises much entertainment during the summer from the famous course landaise to the flamenco festival. Grenade sur l`Adour is 45 minutes drive from the sea and one hours drive from the mountains.
