Within easy reach of la Rochelle and Ile de Ré on the coast, the Marais Poitevin (where canal trips are available). Poitiers (for Futurescope) is about an hour to the east. There are lakes for fishing and three golf courses nearby, the closest only two minutes away.
Although situated to the rear of our own property, the gîte is totally independent with its own entrance, off-road parking, garden and patio with garden furniture and BBQ.
